Community Interventions supported housing in partnership with U Turn supported Move on Homes offered to vulnerable adults a tailored transition into mainstream society at a pace that enabled each person to grow.
We offered high quality homes that had been furnished to a high standard. The homes were clean, safe and effective for purpose allowing for individuals to grow from within. Service users were offered support to help them back into education, employment and training through key works, care plans, patience, empathy and understanding. The overall aim was to support the service users to maintain abstinence from drugs and alcohol and successful transition into independent living, thus becoming productive members of the community.
Community Interventions currently have supported housing currently in the North West of England. Our vision is to obtain additional homes in order to continue to accommodate the increasing need of those most vulnerable in our society. It is Community Interventions supported housing ambition to support those at risk of social exclusion to abstain from destructive behaviour and to progress constructively into independent living.
